Uniquely painted images for worthy charitable causes, it's what I do. For The Solace Tree, I painted twenty five angels and for an entire year, anyone can buy a solace tree angel hand painted print on canvas or simply a print or t-shirt and half the net proceeds go back to The Solace Tree.
I create my pictures on paper and canvas by painting with acrylics, oil, pure pigment and ink. I then collage the painting and scan the collage image onto the computer where I further enhance the color and texture of the collage. My final image is a dichotomy of hands on art tradition and painting combined with Pop sensibilities, which relied on repetition of image, screen process and camera technology.
For each image, I make 250 numbered, hand painted prints on canvas in two sizes, at 8" x 10" which is $150 and 16" x 20" which is $250. Unnumbered/unpainted prints run $50 for the 8" x 10" and $75 for the 16" x 20" size. Tshirts bearing my images are $35.00.
